Dul Muluk is the traditional theater in South Sumatra. It is said that this performance art poetry starts from Raja Ali Haji, a writer who once lived in Riau. The work of this king became popular and spread to Palembang.
Dul Muluk is more often performed in the suburbs, so many residents don't know it much. Even so still a lot of spectators witnessed the staging of Dul Muluk.
